From the Bulletin for July 25, 2010
The Roman Catholic Community of St. Brigid Parish
(St. Francis Xavier Church, Friendsville, Pa.,
and St. Augustine Church, Silver Lake, Pa.)

MESSAGES OF LOVE
Mercy is an indispensable dimension of love; it is, as it were, love’s second name and, at the same time, the specific manner in which love is revealed and effected vis-à-vis the reality of the evil that is in the world.
~Pope John Paul II

WEEKLY STEWARDSHIP REPORT
Thank you for your kindness & generosity in our Parish collections. Last weekends collection: St. Francis (4:00PM) $ 798.00; St. Francis (8:00AM) $ 977.00; St. Augustine (10:30AM) $ 902.00.

LIFELINES
For the very reason that God is love and man is his image we understand the person’s profound identity, his vocation to love. Human beings are made for love; their lives are completely fulfilled only if they are lived in love.
~ Pope Benedict XVI, Message to Cardinal Stanislaw Rylko, Tenth International Youth Forum (3/20/10)

PLEASE REMEMBER THE NEW MASS SCHEDULE
Saturday—4:00PM—St. Francis Church
Sunday—8:00AM—St. Francis Church

ST. BRIGID’S ANNUAL PARISH PICNIC
AT NEUMANN CENTER, CHOCONUT, PA
THIS YEAR THE CHICKEN BARBECUE AND PARISH PICNIC WILL BE HELD ON AUGUST 1ST………..NEXT SUNDAY!!!
