Bishop of Scranton in 1890 -  Rt. Rev. William O'Hara, D.D. 

Founding Pastor -  Rev. John J. Lally, Pastor at St. Francis Xavier in Friendsville 

First Resident Pastor -  Rev. P. J. Colligan 

First Baptism - Francis Clark, September 21, 1890 

First Wedding -  John Boland and Bridget Ringrose at Warren on April 23, 1891 

First Funeral -  Jerimiah Ring, died October 20, 1890, age 77, Buried in Friendsville 

First Confirmation - October 26, 1891, by Right Rev. William O'Hara. Class of 59 members including the following whose family names still appeared in the parish census of 1989:  Patrick Hickey, John Neville, William Hartigan, Agnes Lynch, Ellen Neville, Nan Lynch, Catherine Hartigan, and Juliaette Hickey.
