Lions Award Scholarships

Apalachin Lions Club awarded $3000 in Scholarship for 2009. Scholarship winners received $500 at their Awards Ceremonies. The scholarship is to promote and reward young people for service to their community and school.

This years 6 winners are, Michael Stevens from Montrose Junior-Senior High School, Eric Sargent and Lindsay Schneider from Owego Free Academy, Kenneth B. Donovan Jr. from Vestal LEAH Home Schooling, and Brendon Dunham and Wen Fang Li from Vestal Senior High. The winners and their family members joined the Lions at their dinner meeting on June 10.
